Issue Position

A major part of the American dream is home ownership and it saddens me to see those realized dreams being eroded away by home foreclosures. Equally painful is the fact that majority of home owners whose homes are not being foreclosed upon have their homes "underwater", a term that simply means you owe more on your home than the home is actually worth.

I want to be a voice for every single person going through foreclosure or whose home is "underwater". As your State Representative, I will work with stakeholders - lenders, homeowners, community leaders, to find a way out; we all have a stake in this.
